We replaced the heart of Verant — the engine that decides what gets flagged. The new engine reads more carefully: more real errors caught, fewer false alarms to wade through.
We built a labeled corpus from real production pages and reconciled every label through a three-pass review. Then we ran 24 models through a staged tournament, narrowed the field to eight finalists, and checked the winner against a frozen holdout kept out of all selection and tuning.
The bar exists for one reason: when Verant flags something, you should be able to act on it without second-guessing us.
Scans now use a fallback chain with a different provider at each hop, ranked by the same tournament evidence — if one provider goes down, the scan tries the next. Paid scans got hardening of their own: a scan that fails gives its pages back, and one that can’t start yet tells you exactly when to retry.
Two new ways to pay, both self-serve. Hobby, Pro, and Ultra now offer discounted annual billing, and prepaid scan credits cover one-off launches without a subscription.
